So all my labs came back good.... Even all my vitamin checks.... So why does my cheek keep tingling and twitching..... Of course Dr says anxiety but my brain will keep saying probably a tumor or something worse and she is just putting it off as anxiety. Do you all ever feel that Dr do not take your physical symptoms seriously as soon as they know you have anxiety or depression? Mentally and physically exhausted today.. just wish I could crawl out of my brain for a bit so I did not have to listen to the constant worries.... Sorry for such a negative post... Hope that everyone is having a good week! At least it is Weds here so half way through the week!!!!!

Mornin, Dogmom. Do you have a copy of those vitamin numbers? My last 2 docs said everything was just fine but, when I looked at a copy of the numbers myself, I found my bad cholesterol number was off, 2 liver numbers were off and several other numbers were just borderline. But, what really ticked me off was that my vit d level was in the red zone! It was critically low! Obviously I wasn't just fine! This happened to me earlier many years ago too. If you get a copy, I know how to read it and I will gladly help. For instance, if your potassium, magnesium, calcium or iron are off just a bit, it can cause muscle twitching. If you have a copy, get one. Like I said, I'll help you read it. Okay? You are one of my many friends here and I worry about you. Otherwise, have a really blessed day.
Feel better!!! I promise you are ok!!!
I have the same experience, worrying about symptoms - tests come back negative all good a-ok but my brain can't seem to accept the information and fixate on the symptoms/feelings associating them with disease and sickness that the test results tell otherwise.
Then I will leave my appointment and experience a new symptom and start fixating on that, and here we go again on the whole process...
It's hard to accept but it's incredible what our brain can do to make us feel things and trick us also stress side effects are insane!
JEG is correct but so is your Doctor.
Your levels could be within "norms" as in nothing outstandingly harmful but like his experience adjusting certain deficiencies could make you feel a lot better overall, but I assume when doctors say normal it means within a degree of normality, nothing life threatening or associated with disease or the "C" word.
Always here to Chat, I know exactly what you are going through!
