Guys ,need ur help regarding tapering Venlafaxine capsules with tiny pellets in it.
I saw a video on how to take out beads everyday and decrease the dose for days.
Is it the right method . I am counting the beads right but it is time consuming.
Will i have any side effects with this method.Is it safe ?
Why don’t you go to your doctor and get him to help you taper safely?

Why are you trying to get off? And what is your current dosage?
Because it is not suiting me.It makes my heart pound stronger and gives palpitations, raises my BP and insomnia. Its not good .
I am on 75 mg daily ,but today i feel better after tapering it to 50 approximately
I'm on this too and I asked multiple Dr's to wean me off of it. They all told me it's one of the harder anti depressants to get off of. Years ago I had trouble with my pharmacy and I didn't have it for 3 days. That was pure hell. I understand now wht you never go off those without a Dr helping you. Trust me do it the safe way. I'd be VERY cautious about weaning yourself off any medication without a doctor's oversight. Are you on any other medications? Are you sure it's the venlafaxine causing the heart palpitations and not anxiety? I'm guessing by your statement that you don't go out much that you also suffer from agoraphobia, which is a difficult thing to overcome, but I'd highly recommend getting a trusted friend or family member to help you get to the doctor to talk about your medications and find a solution to the way you're feeling. It seems obvious to me that your medication cocktail needs to be adjusted, but that is not something you should be managing yourself.
