Don’t like myself
I have those days. Self-talk is a big issue if mine. I go to a psychologist and that helps along with medication. Also what helps me the most is my faith.
Counseling has helped a bit, but it doesn’t seem to sustain me. My thoughts just eat me up
Unfortunately, Faith is an issue for me. Haven’t found anything to really believe in and hold on to.
Can you tell me some things you do like about yourself?
Wow. You know what...no I can’t. Not in this state I’m in anyway.
It’s very difficult to think positively when feeling low. Most of the time it doesn’t matter what anyone tells me, I just have to go through the pain. Maybe when you start to feel better write down some of the things you do like about yourself. Keep it with you. When you feel crummy, pull it out and remind yourself what you do enjoy within you.
