Well I would try and talk to a counselor and this way at least you can learn some coping skills and have someone to trust. Yes, it will be difficult opening up but once you do, you will feel a whole lot better. You never know until you try.
I’m sorry to hear about your panic attacks. First off don’t feel like your burdening people with your problems, if you talk to someone you genuinely trust in all aspects. People need to release everything!!! Emotions, tears, laughter, etc
It’s healthy.
Your panic attacks may have been brought on by you suppressing something that you should be releasing. I suggest you reflect and see if you can figure out what that something is, then seek out assistance with coping. You have control over whether you take medication or not. You don’t want ....you know the rest.
When you’re reflecting be sure to be honest with yourself, after all, no one else is in your head to know or hear.
Medication isn’t a bad thing! It can give you a jump start into feeling like your old self again. I would welcome medication as long as it’s helping you not to have panic attacks. Just think about it...wishing you peace of mind 🙂🌺🙂
