With the more clearly defined diagnosis for my daughter she was diagnosed with severe social anxiety. Her new medication is Zoloft, anyone have success with this drug

I'm glad your daughter is getting help with her anxiety....you'll have to be patient as it takes a while...days, weeks for it to fully kick in...and then there may need to be adjustments. But everyone is different, and the same drug works for some and not others, and many of us have had to try a few different medications to find one that works. I hope this works out for her...and glad your sharing.

Zoloft is very good for women because it has serotonin. It especially helps during that time of the month. I tried dozens and Zoloft was my favorite. The only thing I noticed is when I went on it, within two days I was doing “too good.” I felt on top of the world so I kept wanting to up the dose because the good moods didn’t last long (maybe a month or two) but most doctors won’t give you above 300mg so I felt it wasn’t working anymore. I took a 3 month break and plan on going back on it next week. So overall it’s good. Just keep extra notice on moods being too high or decreasing. Hope this helps :)
