Hi I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me better understand the health coverage for mental health I haven’t had insurance for years and I don’t really know what I should be looking for.

It depends. Are you a senior or young? All insurance programs are different. Some have fairly decent mental health benefits, some don't. I am a senior so I have a Medicare supplement insurance. My coverage is fairly good. My psychiatrist is covered with a small co-pay. My mental hosp is covered for like 10 days with co-pay. Therapy lacks good coverage tho. I live in Florida. Insurances vary state to state. Sorry I can't be of further help.

I’m 20 and I was looking at different insurances I’m just unsure of what a good mental health insurance policy has on it such as deductibles and such that’s what I mostly want insurance for and I’m just timid about picking one because it’s quite expensive for me to pay 200-300$ a month on insurance so I wanna be positive I’m making the right choice
