Here's some Queen songs I'm currently listening to (with lyrics so you can sing along with me!) lol

Your friend,

Brian :)

In case you're wondering, here's the lineup:

Killer Queen (1974's 'Sheer Heart Attack' album)

You're My Best Friend (1975's 'A Night At The Opera' album)

Good Old-Fashioned Loverboy (1976's 'A Day At The Races' album)

Flash (1980's 'Flash Gordon' soundtrack album)

A Kind Of Magic (1986's 'A Kind Of Magic' album)

Headlong (1991's 'Innuendo' album)

I still have cds. I also have some old cassette tapes. Only two tapes both Metallica. Master of puppets, and And Justice for All. It’s odd because they are my brothers. I just waiting to give them back. I really like the fold out insert they put in the old cassette tape. They have all the lyrics on them all be it in small print.

okay Brian...have you seen the trailers for the new film about Freddie..Bohemian Rhapsody..the band gave it their blessing and said it was true to form and Freddie would have liked it.

The lead actor playing Freddie is this guy who plays the lead character in 'Mr. Robot', Rami Maleck...he's really a good actor.

You have good taste Bri. I saw Queen 3 times. The Rainbow, Hammersmith in '74. Earls Court in '77 n The NEC Birmingham in '81. Won't be watching the Film though. Couldn't bear to see anyone, pretending to be Fred. 😊👍🌻

I never got to see them live unfortunately. I'm gonna give the movie a try. I'm also gonna pop in Queen Live at Wembley '86 in the DVD player to see them live. 😀

Listen to 2:11 of this song and tell me that doesn’t sound like Freddie singing?

That,ll be good. If your like me, you never tire of Quern. I often watch the Queen live at Earls Court dvd. It was such a fabulous day. We saw the "Queen's Jubilee parade" in the day n went to Earls Court in the evening. My friend dyed my hair into a Union Jack. Fred came up onto stage on a circular plinth from under the floor. In a Crown, Sceptre n Ermin cloak.. The crowd went wild. Roger was always the first to finish. When he,d had enough, he would walk through his Drums, scattering them everywhere. Fred seemed, never to want to leave a stage. He was left alone playing "tutti fruiti" and boogie woogie on Piano. What an entertainer, he was! We came home on the Milk train at 4 in the morning. My Dad was just going to work. Happiest of Days. 😀✌️😊

You are so lucky! Queen stopped touring North America after 1982, when I was only 7, so I never had the opportunity. I was in the UK in 1985, but they didn't tour that year. lol So I kinda missed the boat lol. I got hooked on Queen not long after Freddie's death in 1991. My dad one of those cheap greatest hits LPs when I was a kid and I thought it was goofy. Then I grew up lol. Now, I can't go more than a few days without listening to a Queen album. Oh, for everyone else, if you don't have "A Night At The Opera" in your collection, what's wrong with you?!?!?!?! lol :)

I am lucky to have seen them, I know. Loved em then n love em still. 😊 Its great to hear that a young person appreciates them. First Queen album I bought was "Sheer heart attack" but, sort of worked backwards. Queen 2 has some Fab tunes on "The white Queen" is hard to beat. N as you say everyone should own " a night at the Opera". Best of luck. Queen Fan, Pal. 😊🌻✌️

Queen is literally my favorite band! I never got to see them live either but their music and Freddie’s voice have helped me out of some pretty bad times. I was introduced to them in high school and over 20 years later haven’t stopped listening! I have every album, books, and video/docUmentaries I could find. I also bought a 45 last year and my daughter who is 9 just loves bicycle race!

2 weekends ago we saw killer queen cover band from the UK and of course it’s not Freddie but it was so fun! It’s just feel good music that Always puts a smile on my face!

Good to hear. You have good taste Cares. N Music can help us through in bad times. Bicycle Race, is great fun, all those Bike bells! Obviously, I'm a bit of a purist where Fred's concerned. Because we where into them from '74. When they played small venues, we sort of felt, they where 'our' band. But, it is good to know that they have younger Fans, still. 👍😊🌻

Yes, I'm getting on a bit now. Got a few health issues. But, fantastic memories.😊 I think that's what life's about. Making memories and they keep you going in hard times.👍😊✌️🌻

I try to collect as much Queen as I can. I found a site where you can buy 45s and other vinyl records. I also have some of their concert DVDs, so even though I never got to see them in person, I can still experience them live 😀.
