This is my first time visiting/posting here, but I'm trying to reach out for support and tips, etc. I've had anxiety and panic for as long as i can remember. I've always gone through ups and downs, and I'm going through a really rough down right now.
I'm suffering from panic attacks - as soon as I wake up in the morning, and then maybe once more, although they last a long time. Basically, i get to 9pm or so and then finally relax.
This obviously makes life difficult. I am always reluctant to leave my apartment. I was at a friends earlier and had a massibe panic attack that is continuing to linger.
Living with anxiety rough.

I hope things get better soon for you. I’ve got to the point where I’m tired of talking about it anymore. Instead I hope to help someone else by telling them what i like to do to help myself and maybe somewhere in the middle we’ll all find comfort at least some peace. So, one I’m reading posts and it helps take focus so much off my own issues. Then I’m telling myself that this too will pass but I’ve got to be stronger than I’ve ever been to get through this. I have an image of what I want my life to be and who I need to become without the anxiety. I also was diagnose d as bipolar so I went and got magnesium malate pills 1350 mg from the vitamin store and this also helps with anxiety naturally since the only medication I can tolerate is Xanax. Hope this gives you a little nudge to learn what triggers your attacks and how to try to prevent them.
Welcome! This is a great place to find support and validation. You are not alone with how you feel. Have you ever tried medications? For some people (myself included) it can make a world of difference. As I found one that was a good fit, I felt more like myself than I had in a very long time, and it made my day to day anxiety a little more manageable. There are lots of natural remedies and I think everyone should have coping mechanisms that work for them. That might mean exercise, relaxing music or ambient sounds, a cup of tea, breathing exercises, meditation, etc.
I wonder why you relax at around 9. When I am going thru this I feel better when evening rolls around too!! Is it because we don’t feel pressured by others and we actually give ourselves permission to relax? Hmmm. I just was thinking....
I'm sorry that you are having a hard time due to anxiety. Whenever you are experiencing panic attacks, try to tell yourself that these symptoms are temporary and will pass.
Try to talk to your doctor regularly and take care of yourself. I'm sorry that you are going through this, I pray that you will have peace and strength everyday. Please keep us posted.
