Hi, the only thing I have found that helps is meditation . I go to a class once a week and have some quiet time at home when I can, it takes time and practice but I find I works for me, take care X
Take yourself away to a quiet place and read a book. Let someone else's imagination take over yours.
I am sorry your mind is racing all the time. I have struggled with that in the past. I have found listening to relaxing and inspiring music, mediation, and prayer helps me. I try to sit outside and listen and take myself away from all the thinks are contributing to my mind not shutting off. I like this article, even thought it is for helping calm our minds at bedtime. I tried meditation but there is too much chatter in my head. I do the opposite, I try to keep busy while getting lost in music. Having said that, there are a lot of guided meditations on you tube and there are free phone apps.
