This anxiety and depression never seems to let up. I am trying to keep my job, but my disability department never approves the first set of paper work. So then I have to confront the doctor to redo them. I found out Friday night that my papers need to be redone. So I have been stressing myself out over these damn papers for a job that doesn’t care about me.
I’m tired of being told to keep up the fight, you can do this.no. No I can’t. I can’t do this for
The rest of my life. I need so
So e to give me an honest answer— does it get better? Thanks for letting me rant.

It can get better. With a big amount of self care and compassion, a support system and medication. For me that is what is helping. It is slow. I work hard every day to combat my thoughts and to make healthy choices for myself. Maybe that job just isn't a fit. I had to quit one that was triggering me too much.
This process with your job is stressful which I’m sure is adding to some level of anxiety and depression. Yes it gets better. It will absolutely get better.
Remember unless you are family or friends with an employer, he/she just wants to know if you can do a job. In a way it makes sense. That is why people get paid. Would it be nice if it was the other way around? Sure, but that is how society works. I hope you get to the bottom of your anxiety - perhaps take some time to relax and regroup- do some meditation , go outside etc. Also, if you do this already- try getting off the phone, social media ( I know I am old so I do not do that) anything that might hype you up a little, And do not be afraid of taking some "mental health days." You are human.
To add I am sure there are some oldsters out there who do social media- but that is another planet to me. Surprised I am even able to turn on a computor!
