I have and currently still am on 2

Week holiday in the Caribbean. For some reason my anxiety has shot through the roof. I had a massive attack and ended in the hospital and as usual after all released with all the tests being fine. I was on the verge of another 2 days later when I then saw a doctor. I was given Xanax (has anyone used this I am scared to) I was also diagnosed with PCOS and told the change in diet could have caused a hormonal overload which is why I have felt so bad. I still feel very jittery and anxious and it is ruining my holiday.

Hi Sunsetgazer, I am sorry you ended up in the hospital but am glad nothing serious was wrong. Xanax will definitely help get you through the rest of your holiday and allow you to enjoy yourself and get some "me time" in.

One caution with Xanax, do not mix with alcohol. Can have serious consequences. You'll have to choose one or the other but not both. Let us know when you get back and how you did. xx

I've been given Xanax. I was also scared to take it but I've finally taken it and it actually helped. I take it as needed. I don't want to depend on it. I have the lowest dose that can be given.
