Having trouble getting out of bed this morning.. I know I'll feel better if I get up and be active but the mornings are so hard for me now. There was a time when I would roll over and jump out of the bed happy to get up but now that feels like another life time ago.

Don't feel alone. I'm the same way. I have no reason to get up everyday. I have nothing to do and I know it is going to be another long day. But I know I have to get up sometime so I just go ahead and do it.
Hi Meerkat1993...Mornings don't have to be so dreadful if we tell our mind differently. What we believe is what we will get. Have a plan for the day no matter how small. Anxiety doesn't like plans, it wants our minds idle so it can taunt us all day.
No need to roll over and jump out of bed, but try putting on a smile (yes a smile and say out loud "I'm Back". It may surprise you how a positive thought can start your day on a different note. Getting out is all important. Feeling the fresh air, sun or even rain on your face. Life is all around you, experience it.
Treat yourself to some "me time" each day. A phone call to a friend, a favorite movie or show you like to watch...Give yourself at least 1 thing to look forward to each day. It makes a difference in your overall attitude. Come on the forum and help others out. Knowing that you are making a difference for someone else, can allow you to think more positively.
