I'm here Cat. What do you need?

I need to feel pain. I want to cut. I need to feel in control. I hate myself.

I’m sorry if I scared you away. I just need to vent.

I can imagine what you're going through. How can I help you through this? You're a good person. You don't have to cut.

Idk what to do. I can’t sleep. My mind is going a million miles a minute. My heart is pounding and I can’t stop shaking. I’m having trouble breathing. I’m hyperventilating. I’ve got a splitting migraine. My back is killing me. Like I said I’ve lost all control.

Ok Cat, now I can type. You didn't scare me away, I promise. I'm here as long as you need me to be. I know how that feels. My brain is always racing at lightspeed. First order of business is to help you calm down. Close your eyes and start taking slow, deep breaths.

Ok

Make sure you're some place where you feel safe.

Stay focused on your breathing. Keep them slow and deep

Now think of some thing, anything, that you find soothing. Once you have it, get a death grip on it and don't let go.

I’m about to fall asleep. I’m extremely exhausted

I'm here with you Cat.

Try to keep your eyes closed and your breathing steady. Have that soothing thought at the ready. Use it like an anchor to hang on to.

bridder01 in reply to bridder01

Let that soothing thought take precedence in your mind. Let it push everything else out.

I promise I won't leave until you feel better

Let the warmth of that thought wash over you and cover you like a comfortable blanket

No worries Cat :) Hopefully it helped to make you feel even a tiny bit better. You're not alone here. If you ever need someone to sit with you and help, don't hesitate to ask. :)

Sending cheery thoughts your way,

Brian :)

Hi Cat it breaks my heart that you've been dealing with soo much!! you seem like an awesome girl!! wow to have all those brothers and be the only girl- that's a feat to overcome in itself!! You're amazing just for that alone!! I get anxiety attacks as well been looking in to how my hormones relate as well its been so tough dealing with it for years and seems most often related to my cycle so I study nutrition and I've found some useful info on my diet with has helped- if you can try look into an elimination diet to see what foods you may be having issues with or allergies for me it's sugar/ wheat/ gluten/ corn/ dairy/fried greasy foods/ processed foods- I know a lot!! but I've found many great healthy & delicious alternatives and it's been worth it when I see the differences in wat I feel!! Feel best on diet mostly fresh veggies & small portions of good quality lean proteins from organic chicken, hormone free turkey and good healthy fats from avocados, healthy nuts walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds (no peanuts) , fish oil, flax oils, evening primrose oil, like this! Also vitamins& minerals are super Important to look at and especially b vitamins many are not converted or absorbed properly so important to take the best quality methylated kinds!! For me vitamin b6 was a big important need!! I needed proper form of vit. b6 that my body could use properly!! Also as someone mentioned thyroid issues play big role- I personally eat seaweed snacks and seaweed salads these help my thyroid as they have lots of iodine in them!! but find what works for you however I don't recommend or like iodized salt either - it's best to have real pure sea salt with natural occurring iodine!!!☺️🌻🌻Just some thoughts and ideas for you to think on/ look into hope it could help!! please take good care💞💓💟💜(hugs)
