Lightheaded after doubling up on Buspar?

I have been on the anti-depressant Venlafaxine for many years now. I've always had anxiety, but ever since August it has gotten really bad. I told my doctor about this, about a month ago,and he put me on 5 mg.of Buspar, only once a day. I did ok with it, but it did NOTHING for my nerves. On Thursday I called him and he upped it to taking 2 per day to start to see what happens. So I started on Thursday and I was ok. Yesterday afternoon ( Friday) I got very light-headed and felt sick. I CANNOT shake this feeling.I don't think I am getting sick., so it has to be the Buspar. I don't want to completely stop.taking it so I took one this morning. Has anyone experienced this light-headed or dizzy feeling from it? And 10 mg. a day is really so little. Thanks

I don't know anything about that medication, but for sure talking to your doctor is good.

Yes thank you. I'm going to call him on Monday. Still feeling light-headed a day later.
