Curious to see someone's experience if this worked. I don't get anxiety attacks anymore, but I do get anxious sometimes. I'll have to try.

Everyone seems to say it really works that has tried it. My problem is thinking to do this when I’m freaking out. I also pray and that can help. I just don’t think when I’m in it.

I can’t focus enough when in a panic to do this.

Me either I don’t think but so many people say it helps. I’m going to print it and put it in my common areas of my house and on the fridge. I did that with my favorite bible verse. I even hung the Bible verse on my sons bathroom mirror so when they looked in morning they had that reminder daily. Now I will with this. The other night I just did a modified version. Deep breath then noticing everything around me. Then thinking how would that feel if I touched it or how would it smell. I couldn’t remember the post but modified it. Taking a walk starlight and stopping to smell the roses. Even if no roses. Look at things. Smell them touch them. Focus on them. Even my modified version helped me fall off the edge sweetheart. It’s all about trying to refocus your brain.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to sweetie?

I was referring to the picture I posted that lists how you can avoid panic attacks. If you click the picture you will see the whole thing.

Yes I've heard of this. It does help. But being specific and focusing on objects when describing them helps with these steps. It gets your mind off things and helps to retrain your brain to try and relax and cope in stress/ anxiety situation.

Definitely a daily struggle. I find myself tangled in the web of confusion. Along with this my OCD starts to kick in.Thank you for this post. It is very helpful to try this . I've only heard about this a week ago while searching on the web for severe anxiety coping. Tried once it did help.

This actually works, counting how many things i see along the way helps like trees houses any little thing

I’m so glad it could help. I’ve never tried it. My mom sent it to me. I will be using it as able and as needed. ❤️

I was on the verge when I got off work. I didn’t read this but I did visualize things around me. Colors, temperature etc less formal than above along with deep breathing and it helped. A lot!
