Broke my arm Saturday morning and now I'm putting my cats into care for a while until I am better. This decision is very upsetting to have to do but was necessary. They are my sanity and help me. I'm taking care of My special needs grandson who lives with me and willalso have to go into care if I need to have an operation

Well, well, a cat lover! How fotunate. Those litle bundles of fur will be right there waiting for you when you bring them home. And they will be fine, cat's adjust qute easily. Let me tell you about my rescue cat. He was in the hurricane in North Carolina in 2002. He lived in a culvert outside a Popeye's fast food for a year and a half. Another flood came and the manager of Popeyes took him to Cat facility. He spent time trying to be placed but was too upset. Finally a kind soul sent him to a Cat Santuary here in Washington State. After two years the Sanctuary posted him for adoption. He had spent his time in a cage, about the size of refrigerator box. He would not come out and be with the other cats as he was frightened. I read about him and decided to adopt him. I live alone in a 4th floor apartment. He was someone's beloved house cat. He does all the house cat things. Sleeps with me, walks on the furniture, is a lap-sitter. He adores me and vice versa. He is one happy cat. Good luck to you. How lucky you have your fur balls. Don't be sad or upset. It will all come together. Cheers, Rose

You and your cat were meant to be together. He's very lucky to have found you and your loving heart.

Today I go see my Orthopedic Surgeon and find out after 30 days, if I'll need surgery. My fracture is not healing as quickly as it should be. Now, I'm concerned about the lack of feeling in my palm side and thumb. My pinky and ring finger has shooting pain to my elbow depending on the position of the arm.

So, I'm concerned that I'll need surgery and my grandson will have to be put into care for a while until I am better. ThenI'll bring home my babies and grandson.

Hello, Thank you for your kind reply. This writing on a thread is new to me but kind of excitin! I am 86 so I guess evey day is a plus for me. I certainly admire you caring for a grandson. May I ask how old is he? My youngest grandson is 22, as yet I have no great grand children. My one grandson is going with a gal who has a little boy 4. We are all enthused with him and of course think he is brillant. They have announce their engagement and plan to marry next month. I will loook forward to hearing good news with your recovery and of course about your kitty cats.

.

Cheers, Rose
