This is a wonderful post! Thanks for posting. My therapist always tells me to write down the good things in my life daily so I can focus on that and not the stress. So let me try

1. My family and I are healthy (except for my anxiety of course)

2. I have health insurance

3. I have a job, a place to live and food to eat.

4. I was able to go for a long walk with my dogs today

5. Spring is coming

A great idea - I would like to try to remember to do this every day. Thank you for starting a very helpful thread :)

Today I am grateful for:

1. The sunshine and that it was just warm enough to sit on our screened porch and let it shine in my face.

2. The friendships and laughs shared at our neighborhood board meeting this evening.

3. My healthy and growing furry Maine Coon kittens and their purring Momcat Maddie.

4. The fabulous game played by the US Women's Ice Hockey Team and their 5 - 0 win over the Russian Women's Team.

5. The anxiety-relieving half hour drive I took through our winding country roads with the radio blasting my favorite Tom Petty songs.

Love it all. Definitely going to listen to some Tom Petty now :)

Agree. Too often we overlook the good things in life. Many times they outnumber the negative ones. More smiling less whining :)
