You sound like a person who I would enjoy sitting by on an evening sunset with a hot cup of tea and talking about the best things in life. Thank you for making me think about what I am thankful for.

Well I'd love to watch the sunset with you too! We have to always remember to count our blessings, it make not take everything away we deal with but sure does help!

4 managed to get at least some sleep

5 the beauty of Autumn sunshine and the walk I intend to have in the woods today

Thank you for posting such a positive thought provoking thread :)

I really try to be positive. God Bless my dear reposed mother, she always would tell me positive breeds positive and negative breeds negative! She remained that way until 3 hours before she reposed and was unable to talk. I love her dearly and know she is still with me! Lisa

I see you posted this 9 months ago, but seeing this today put a smile on my face! And reading all the replies did as well!! We must always remember what we are grateful for, it helps keep you going. It is very easy to fall into the depressing thoughts. So today, my 5 are...

- My husband. (my angel, he saved me).

- My cats (I have 5, they all have such different personalities and each one brightens my day, everyday)!

- My home (small as well, but we hustle everyday for it)

- My aunt (without her i would be completely lost)

- Waking up to another day.
