A box of surface-type Emotional switch, please

I wish there is a switch that could turn off the endless train of negative thoughts and turn on the enthusiasm and positivity so that we could enjoy life to the fullest.

I'm sick of hearing 'advices' that 'I just have to think positive', 'it's all in my head', etc.

Hello, I am new so please forgive me if I do or say anything dumb. I was on a site this morning that suggested tapping temple, cheek or shoulders. Can send link if you want.

I use it when my gut is riddled with anxiety from negative thinking. It calms anxiety, for me.
