It’s been nearly 3 months since I posted last, so lemme clear up that I am actually still alive. I was doing pretty well up until the beginning of this year...I was almost 3 months clean. I’m only about a week clean now. I just got put on Prozac and another med for my depression.
So yeah...that’s just kind of a recap of my life since I posted last

It's ok. You are trying and that means so very, very much. All we can do, all of us, is keep trying. When we get knocked down, we have to try to dust ourselves off, and try again. And this is the hardest, I know. Keep pushing forward, my dear. We are here to listen. <3
powrrlesspotato Hello.. I’ve been on Prozac amongst my another anti-depressants on the market. Initially I felt the Prozac helped with my low moods, crying spells & actually gave me some energy to be a bit more active & sociable. But it feels like after a year & being increased to the maximum dosage of 80mg the medication seems to have lost its effectiveness. I’m currently discussing with my psych Dr. other options of medications to try, but like I previously said over many years of battling depression, I’ve been on practically every med on the market. I’m also hesitant to try another med because of all of the side effects. I suffer terribly with fibromyalgia & a long list of uncomfortable symptoms, so it’s really difficult at times to determine if what I’m experiencing is a reaction to the medication or a fibro flare up. I hope Prozac works for you. But with any med there’s also a necessity for lifestyle change which is oftentimes far easier said than accomplished. I hope you have the family support & medical team you need. I truly wish you well. Gentle hugs my friend!!
