Why???

I live in a fairly small town and down a couple of blocks from where I live at is this pretty big church with a huge parking lot that’s usually filled up the *** with cars and people. My question is since there are so many Faithful followers who follow the man up above why have I not seen one single act of kindness. Everywhere I go people pass up the homeless like they don’t exist, people like me get ignored, discriminated, and shunned against by society, and those that are dying or suffering are left to fend for themselves. Hmmm...

Hi Squall901, I've thought of that many times myself. The church is filled with I'm assuming "God fearing people" and yet when church lets out, It's every man for himself. Blowing horns, getting cut off. Hey, who are these people and why did they change once they left the church? x

Yea it just occurred to me that this has always made me wonder even as far back as my younger years I wanted to know why people don’t care about the bums or homeless and it makes me sad because one day your life can take a turn for the worst . How would you feel if one day you were struck with a mental illness and society turns a blind eye on you? Plus one thing I notice is that the majority help out either for praise, glory, status, to gain something, or because they don’t want to feel like assholes from guilty feelings and not help from the heart instead:(

Hello, it is a big problem for me. I do not believe in god. I have people I know who go to church and say I have you in my prayers, my answer is so who is listening, I've been sick for months why is it taking so long for a response? This year I spent 6 days in a mental hospital, to me it was nothing more than a warehouse, once they thought I was not going to kill myself they let me out, and it cost thousands of dollars, and I did not feel any benefit. I am glad mental illness is finally being recognized, but as far as I am concerned they are not doing enough, and millions & millions are suffering day after day. Hang in there ladies. It is a tough row we have to hoe, and am I suffering. Right know if there is a hell I feel like I am in it.

Take the best care of yourselves. I send you love, peace and healing. Sprinkle 1
