Has anyone else that's taken citalopram for anxiety only become really depressed whilst taking it. Been taking mine for 3 weeks now and I feel so low! 😢

Will this improve??

Hey, I have been on citalopram 4 times...I don't think it helped my anxiety much or depression, I remember wanting to just sleep all the time...they say to give it up to 6 wks maybe more to see any improvement....I would go back to see your Dr if theres no change in that time...Good Luck, I hope it starts working for u soon..:)

Hey, I hope so :) I'm on one called Luvox(Fluvoxamine) its for Ocd, I was recently diagnosed with it....I have been on several anti depressants, none have been that good to be honest...I ended up taking 1mg Valium daily which helped in the beginning but u have to take higher doses after a while...Hugs xx

Yes it will improve can take about 6 weeks. Stick with it and you will get passed this feeling.

Did you find it made you feel like this too?

Also is it a good sign the meds are working if I'm having better days in between the bad days? Xx
