For anyone who reads this: 1) How long have you been on this website for? 2) Do you like it? 3) What about this website keeps your interest the most? 4) I find it difficult to talk because of my disorders, do you? and 5) Do you have any conversation advice?
I need people to talk to, so I really needed to reach out to a helpful community, and I like this one a lot so far.
Welcome Anonome125 to a great forum. I've been on over 2 years and have seen many people who were struggling, find success by having the support and understanding of a great group of men and women alike who deal with these issues daily. The caring behind each person is unbelievable. It's like a little family of people who want to comfort even though they are going through the same emotional and physical pain.
In starting a conversation, it can be as simple as responding to someone else's post that you can relate to or when you feel comfortable enough, sharing your life's journey with the issues you have.
As with any other on line forum, keep yourself safe. Administration does oversee the forum. Looking forward to chatting with you. You've just found some new friends who care.
Thank you. All of what you said is what I needed to hear, since it is what I have been looking for. I have a lot of support with my family, and I am starting to find more support with my community. I isolated myself for a while and I love to talk to people through messages and on the internet instead, sometimes. And, online conversations seem to ease us into real world convo's, sometimes, I think.
Hi and welcome to the site. I’ve only been on this site for a few months. The people I have talked seem very caring.,One the the best things is we all have depression and anxiety and other issues it’s good to talk to somebody who at least say they care, I find talking is the best medicine for me. You asked a question about starting a conversation. Someone gave me good advice long time ago. Ask the person about them selves people just love to talk about them selves. Hope to hear from you
Thank you for the warm welcome and the advice. People really do like to talk about themselves, that is something I have noticed too, but never really put two and two together. So, your advice really helps. Thank you for getting back to me. And, if you need a kind word or some advice in the future, don't be afraid to reach out and ask me.
