I all the sudden am getting really panicked and feel like I can't breathe I'm at my parents house and they don't know about my problems and I really don't want them to find me crying or struggling to breathe while panicked. Does anyone know what to do?

I usually close my eyes and put myself in a place when I didn’t feel the panic sometimes that helps me

Does the brown paper bad thing work? I don't have panic attacks but remember people doing that.

Lie down and let it overcome you. It's like letting the tide wash you out to sea. I do it all the time and it passes after about 15 minutes. It's a purely physical phenomenon that is adrenaline driven and can't harm you in and of itself. I've been doing this for over 50 years.
