Im new here.

Hello I am sam. I've had depression and anxiety for about 10 years. I have times where I am depressed for no reason. My psychiatrist calls it situational depression does anyone else get this even though your on meds?

Hi Sam, I also have depression and anxiety, it has been about 8 years since actually diagnosed... been on more medication than I can keep up with, all trial and error. I definitely feel like I have times where I am originally depressed for no reason (as far as the cause) but then it brings up other things in my mind and that will prolong the depressed feelings and it's like a never ending cycle. I am still trying meds to "find the right one" but it always seems that it helps at first and then after a couple months it declines again.
