Has anyone else gone to a iop and was it successful. At the point I am at I am willing to try anything to feel half way normal again. Really struggling lately.

Several years back, I was struggling really bad. I was in college, had a baby and was having panic attacks literally 24/7. I thought I was dying or going crazy. I went to an IOP program and it made all the difference. I cried the first few days I was there because my body symptoms were unbearable and I thought I wasn't going to make it. But, just the act of going there showed me that I could feel horrendous but still do what I set out to do. The Dr was great and I continued seeing him for 14 years (until he retired). I was there 6 weeks as I was quite bad off. But I slowly started to turn the corner by the end. I was back in college 2 months later and had 5 of the best years of my life! Keep your head up! You're going to make it. You're reaching out for help and that is to be applauded.
