I don't blame you for wanting this to end. A nurse practitioner? I've never heard of one in the psychiatric field. What does she do/not do compared to a psychiatrist? I'd be very intrigued to know. I suppose this is a way to get seen when the psych Doc isn't available and appointments are a long way off. She can prescribe and get you started on the right meds, hopefully.
I would definitely ask her to recommend a family Dr or psychiatrist.
