Hi, I have been hiding my depression very well for months. I'm have a full time job as a nurse and 2 small children that depend on me. My husband works out of town. Now I am finding my self more isolated, I can no longer hide the weight loss I have experience from this from people. The crying spells seem more frequent and I can no longer concentrate. I'm at a loss of what to do. I just want it to stop.

It's part of depression there's therapy u can do and even natural things that can help u like working out or remedies or oils to relax you
Talk to a phycologist and psichriatrist. I never thought I would seek help from these specialist but my kids need me so rushed to get the help I needed for them.
I think as a nurse you may have learned that depression brings weight loss and isolation if it isn't treated. Also crying spells. That it only gets worse if it's ignored, not better. I agree with the 2 answers you've already received. There are a variety of things you can do to get better, but you've already gotten seriously sick so you need to get serious about getting better fast. Make an appointment asap with a psychiatrist and a therapist.
These things take time so you must move as quickly as possible every step of the way. Please accept medication from the psychiatrist. And make multiple appointments with the therapist from the start as there's no doubt you need them. The good news is that you can get better with help and you can feel really good again. You just have to work at it and find the right professionals to do it with. If you have any questions I'll be here for you. I wish you the best of all possible futures!
