Yes, we'd all like to hide away when we 1st discover we're depressed. That's the disease talking. But if you were on a medicine that took that ugly feeling away you would find a new person inside of you that wanted "OUT" and wanted to play and laugh and see other interesting things besides the insides of your 4 walls at home. With the right medicine and with talking to the right person you could come alive again and feel like a human being should. Like maybe you once did long ago when you wanted to explore your world more than anything else.

C'mon, Gissy, c'mon out of there and play with us, see what healing can make you feel again! Why not go to the doctor and tell your story a little and see if you want to start on some medicine for depression and get counseling because you definitely need a good counselor or therapist to bring your knowledge of how to live again up to speed. Talk to us and see if this is for you.

You and I are about the same age. Please talk to your doctor when you have your annual check up. If you live in the USA, Medical covers a complete annual physical. Let the doctor know how you are feeling. Maybe there is something physical causing some of your feelings.

Please do this. I feel the way you do at times. My doctor knows and referred me to a therapist I see once a month and I take

medication daily to help with my depression and anxiety.

PLEASE take the first step and check with your doctor. You and I have more years ahead that can be enjoyed..one day at a time.
