Burning in mouth and tongue are not common signs of anxiety/depression. Your question alone feels filled with anxiety. I can sense you are having a difficult time right now. I'm sure you didn't find this site by accident. If you are thinking you have anxiety/depression, you most likely do. All people do at some point in their life. The question is whether this is of clinical significance and not situational that will pass. Seeing a therapist is the only way for sure to know if what you're experiencing is diagnosable/treatable long term condition. Not to downplay the tremendous impact of situational/transitional anxiety/depression! Both are serious and require some professional to assist with treatment.

Was diagnosed with acid reflux back in November of 2016,wasn't sure if this was part of it ,burning in mouth.Or if the anxiety is making reflux worse.

Yes, the reflux would cause the burning sensation in your throats and mouth. Stress and anxiety are definitely triggers to exacerbate your reflux issues. Learn some deep breathing techniques and meditation it will help relax your mind and body. A hot relaxing bath with Epsom salts and lavender or anything else you might have also provides relief from stress and anxiety. Play some light music and burn some nice smelling candles. This even helps my young son who struggles with anxiety. It definitely can't hurt! ☺️

I did have what is called burning mouth syndrome where my tongue and mouth burned as well as my neck. Had it for months and it did finally disappear. Never thought it would though which is part of my anxiety about anything that happens. The fear is always present with the "what ifs". I totally understand.

You can always private message me if you want to chat. I really do get it. Anxiety takes over into terror.

I tried private messaging you rather than trying to explain so look for your private messages, then you can just respond back on the same thread.

I've ever only had a sore mouth/tongue from medication.

I've had a dry mouth from anxiety.
