I have nightmares every night and I sometimes see faint flashing lights behind my eyelids or just looking in the dark that make it very hard to sleep. Does anyone else?

I used to have extremely vivid dreams and nightmares every night before my doctor prescribed Gabapentin to me. It completely relaxed my body and somehow made it so that I only lightly dream in the mornings just before waking up. Talk with your doctor, maybe?

I certainly have trouble sleeping, but i don't experience what your having. Are you taking any supplements or meds that could be causing?

I go through periods where I have the most Vivid awful nightmares. When I wake up I can remember so much of them it's seriously almost like I have PTSD. Then they go away. I'm not sure what's causing them but they have come and gone for years. The good news is that they do go away and they stay away for the majority of the time.
