I would say not from my experience but can't suggest why you had this. Maybe a few nerves were damaged which are gradually waking up but it is rather a long time now. I think you should ask you doctor to examine you some time just in case but if there was anything bad happening it would have by now.

Thank you Bob ..as I havent been too well from unknown cause I wondered if an infection but no redness or fever so ..I did do some very gentle exercises at gym ( just resistance and balance and no cardio) It seemed to knock me out! Ive tried a few things like yoga etc but my body doesnt like it! I have a strange body i think!

I felt my catheter entry point in my groin for at least six months and after that just odd shooting pains for another six months or so. I did ask my GP who suggested a nerve might have been nicked. I haven’t felt it for over a year now so mine did go, Hope yours does.

My catheter site has been harassed 3 times with ablations and angiograms and despite my last ablation being in Nov 2018 it still tweaks occasionally. I don't get significant issues from it but it will occasionally ache if I do something silly like lift something too heavy. I think its one of those things that hangs around probably for more than 12months giving the occasional twinge. If you feel the site and there is swelling or a lump there I'd definitely see the Dr about it. I'm guessing if you are feeling ill anyway you should really make a GP appointment.

Oh, this does sound like me. I had my second ablation in June 2016 and have had severe shooting pain in my groin ever since. So much so that my leg gives way and I am in agony. Spoke to my GP about a year ago and they didn't seem concerned

Oh dear ..that is really nasty and I hope it clears . Mine is not so severe so I hope yours clears .Many GPs dont seem to know much about ablations! Thanks anyway
