Magnesium taurate

Has anyone had any success with magnesium taurate and ectopic beats?

Not sure what Mg taurate is. I have just started a supplement Nutri Ultra Muscleze (Mg +Taurine+alot of other stuff) at around half the dose stated on the packet and it has improved my sleep pattern considerably. It's supposed to relax the heart I think, recommend by a Naturopath and OK'd by my cardiologist and EP.

Can you take Mg taurate with warfarin, do you know? I still have ectopics - not many though, but I used to take Mg taurate pre- ablation/warfarin as I read that it was quite good.

I think you might be better off taking Magnesium Citrate and a separate Taurine supplement instead of the Magnesium Taurate. The absorbable magnesium content taken like that would be higher.

I take both the MC and T along with other supplements. The others include a high EPA fish oil and Q10.

Not sure how much they help me. I do still get ectopics, PVCs and PACs, but would they be worse? I'm not sure. Not had a further AF episode though.

Also I haven't had a racing heart since I started taking them. I used to get night time rates of ~ 100-125 which would wake me, now if I feel my heart is fast it is only ~85bpm.

A plus point is that something amongst my supplements has lowered my cholesterol from 4.9, a level it had been at for years, to 3.79!

Brilliant, the place I get my supplements has recommended the spray, so I shall start squirting! Like you I use the fish oil (krill) and Q10, not quite sure how much good they do, but as you say they might be worse. Thank you for the help, and I love your call sign (or whatever they are called)!
