Hello everyone, despite being Metastatic CRPC he is extremely blessed for Pluvicto to have worked so well. PSA went down to 24 as its lowest, and even ALP is now at normal levels. That's with only normal ADT as he stopped Abiraterone (Zytiga) after PSA went up in February. He had Docetaxel before all this.
It continues to work well, but the limit for injections is 6, which is next week. Is there any future to just...keep going if it works and continues to work? We live in France.
Also, any other options to consider? I'm pretty sure he'll have to go through Cabazitaxel after that and it'll be much harder on him. He tolerates Pluvicto very well outside of some fatigue the first week.
Thank you. I hope this treatment works as well for everyone as it did for my father. Please don't give up hope!

The US is behind in new radioligand treatments. I think you may find more in Germany that we have here. I also have my :last: Pluvicto in a week or so and am wondering what to do next.
Lead 212 looks really promising as are other alpha emitters. Actinium also looks promising but the ligand they are using is very likely to cause xerostomia including permanent dry mouth.
I have permanent dry mouth form previous Pluvicto treatments (there was a pause because blood levels got dangerously low) and now I am getting it again and sound like some old guy with mouth problems who might be drunk.
To add to Tall_Allen's link, there may be a benefit of taking a break between Pluvicto treatments, based on research on German patients: jnm.snmjournals.org/content...
My PSA continued to drop for 3 months after my 6 shots -- went down from 12 to 5, then slowly started rising again. Cabazitaxel is not an option for me according to my MO, but an MO at Roswell Park has offered several other options (including clinical trials) as well as additional Pluvictio.
My PSA was very low after 4 Pluvicto doses. I asked about keeping the last 2 "on the shelf" but, because I was one of the first few patients to get it after approval, it was get all 6 if you can tolerate it. It worked for me and I got a year of easy living (no other treatments) for a bit over a year. Best wishes!
I had 3 radio-ligand treatments in Austria last year and PSA went very low. PSA began to rise again, had another PSMA scan and have just finished 3rd of a second series this year. PSA has been dropping again. The doctor there says that as long as the cancer is still PSMA avid, more treatments can be given.
