Gummie relief for degarelix shots?

DH has so much pain with each monthly shot and can't take nsaids. Is there anything that won't make him loopy to use after shots for a few days? He is ready to go back to lupron, it hurts so much. Mail order preferred.Thanks!

He could take Orgovyx pills instead. They work very similar.

Hi Chip. I've been on Firmagon for over 20 months. Every 28 days I have a fever of almost 2° C for about 36 hours. And I sleep 12 to 14 hours for one day and maybe 9 or 10 hours the next day. And then I'm fine. I do not that the skill of the nurse doing the injection, as well as strictly following instructions, is very important. Is quite inconsistent. I have one nurse now who I always see and there's hardly any sight reaction. I do take hydromorphone and Tylenol pills every 4 to 6 hours sometimes. Maybe DH's pain is systemic in which case my comments are irrelevant? I deliberately stayed on Firmagon because I did not want to go to Lupron.
