PSA not dropping with cabazitaxel

See my profile for history. Have had 8 good years after Docitaxal, Lupron and 4 years of Zytiga. But mets's started up again in May, 2023. PSA went up to 36. Took 5 rounds of Docitaxal but not working. PSA 46 in December. MO prognosis is 1-1.5 yrs.

Switched to cabazitaxel but after 3 rounds PSA is now 59.

Had to have nephrostomy tubes put in Dec 6, 2023 and between them and low immunity from chemo have gotten one UTI after another.

My heart says keep going but my head and body says "call off the chemo"!

Should I push for PSMA testing or try Xtandi first...or both.

PSMA testing is not very easy to get done here in Canada.

Thoughts/advice please.

I want quality vs quantity of life. No quality right now.

Maybe add carboplatin to your next Jevtana treatment.

Can you get Pluvicto in Canada?

Pluvicto has been approved in Canada but I don't think is funded yet.

Yes...that is correct. I Think it costs about $20K.

Met with the MO today and she recommended stopping the chemo and has started me on Xtandi. Also gave me info and consent forms for a PSMA study here in Canada. So hopefully I will get the PSMA-PET scan done fairly soon and if I qualify will start on one of the targeted radiotherapy procedures.
