I finished 6 treatments of Pluvicto in May 2023 with negligible PSA readings. In August of 23 my PSA jumped to 2.3, my September 14 PSA is 16.8. It seems like Pluvicto is losing it's grip. I have an appointment with my oncologist on September 25. I am sure he will order a PSMA scan. I am curious as to if any warriors here experienced similar results and what is your next step ? Note: I was diagnosed in September 2014 and I have had taxotere 6 rounds, Xtandi 2 years, Keytruda 19 rounds and 12 rounds of taxotere prior to Pluvicto. I know many of you have suffered and been through a lot worse than I could imagine. I know I have had a good run. I learned today of my numbers and I'm trying to somehow soften this new development to my wife, hence my curiosity for next step choices.

After I completed LuPSMA177 with PSA slowing increasing. I met with Dr. Denmeade. I have moved onto BAT. I turned out to be a responder. Time shall tell.

I'm not familiar with BAT. I will have to research. Thank you.

I only made it through four rounds of Pluvicto and my PSA started to go back up again. I just met with my MO yesterday and he wants me to take a rest for 45 days then start CabaTaxol.

So sorry to read this, J. Contrary to your comment that others have had it worse, you’ve been a fighter for sure!

If your scan indicates one or two active tumors (as mine did after Pluvicto), you may consider focused radiation - even though this isn’t really supported as standard of care (SOC) treatment (it is only considered “palliative”).

I’ve done focused radiation treatment regimens two separate times now, and although it is not a true systemic treatment, my post-treatment PSA numbers improved. So it definitely killed something!

Good luck! - Joe M
