pain while swallowing

Has anyone experienced pain with swallowing?

My dad mentioned that he’s been having some pain in his throat that radiates down his chest when he swallows. The pain is palpable in his neck to where he grunts in pain if he presses there. He’s currently on Erleada + ADT but we are still waiting to switch his treatment as the Erleada has failed and his PSA is rising

Anyone experience anything similar?

I had similar problems. They recently stretched my throat to fix the problem.

I had a RP April 2020. RT and ADT late 2020. ADT continues: Eligard and Xtandi plus prescribed supplements. Add in BP pills and the like and by late 2021 I had trouble swallowing. Went to the Gastro Doc. Barrett's Esophagus. Protonix took care of that. I am slowly reducing my pill intake as safely as possible and with doctor's approval. Sounds like he needs to see an ENT or G/I.

Yes. For me it was a small hiatal hernia, not prostate cancer related.
