Zoladex implant problem ?

Fellow travellers I reach out for your help experience and knowledge of having any problems following the Zoladex 12 week implant administration I had 6 monthly Zoladex and then decidesd to try the 12 week version. I had it 8 days ago and for the first time it bled and required 5 mins pressure to stop - I developed and still have a very bad bruise about 4 inches diameter. In addition whilst in the past 4 week version it was a bit painful for a few days  This time I continue to feel ot it as a mild but persistent sting. I also ‘think’ I can feel it just below the surface as a small bump. The bruise is resolving very very slowly so unlikely to be still bleeding and the doctor has said on seeing a photo - probably fine just to keep an eye on it. However this was not my oncologist but family doctor who nurse injected me.Question 1 - anyone else had this and or is it unusual and is the bleed concerning ?Question 2 - if it is very close to the skin surface or misplaced is it less or not effective ?My concern is that I am unlikely to get an ultrasound to check position for at least 10 days if stall ( U.K. health services strikes and chaos). This will be 2.5 weeks after injection. How serious is this re risk and undermining my treatment effectiveness given I am 6 months into 24 months ADT following RT fir localised G9 (pre treatment high OPSA 8.6) current PSA 0.01 and testosterone 0.6 two weeks ago. Am I being neurotic (lots of scope with PCa) or should I chill out and just wait even if badly placed release  will still be effective ?

Zoladex is supposed to be sub-cutaneous (under the skin), but it sounds like the nurse hit a vein while injecting it. The internal bleeding caused a hematoma. This is not supposed to happen. Make sure that it remains effective with monthly testosterone tests for the next two months. Next time, ask for a different nurse.
