I'm new here so just saying "hello". 71 years old retired anesthetist. Had a PSA of 5.7 in Sept 2020. In November 2020 had an MRI guided biopsy by Dr Busch in Chattanooga Tn - Gleason 9 (4+5) confined to the prostate. Bone scan and pelvic CT clear at that time. My Urologist referred me to Dr Lavey RO at Provision Proton Therapy in Knoxville Tn. Started Eligard ADT every 6 months in December 2020. Completed 40 Proton treatments to the prostate and pelvic area in March 2021. The plan is to stay on the Eligard for 3 doses (18 months) and check the PSA every 3 months. I've found this Health Unlocked community very informative and helpful. Thanks to all of you.
