Results to expect from CT abs/pelvis/chest & NM total body bone scan Monday @ IU University Hospital/IU Simon Cancer Center Indy?

Facts: Aug 01.2019 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET scan I’d me as Advanced, PCa, Metastatic, S4 cancer.

Findings:

1} Prostate gland posterior mid to apical area “PSMA Avid region” 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.8cm (1/2”x 1/2”x 3/4”) 2} Lymph nodes right iliac, periaortic, and retroperitoneal chains- PSMA Avid areas 1.4 x 0.7cm (1/2 x 1/2”) 3} abnormal area PSMA posterior right fourth rib. Other areas of concern activity are in my mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes.

Re-started ADT Lupron (90 day Ver.) inj’s 09/11/2019 with Casodex booster prior. Dec 10th 2019 started Abiraterone 250mg plus Prednisone meds. Last PSA March 10th (my 68th B-day) was 1.032 and T=level was < 3.

My question remains: What do I expect for my CT/NM Scans Monday to Identify or not? Results TBD explained Tue 06/09.

Note: my last CT/NM scans were 18 months back and found nothing. Eighteen months ago is a long time.

The previous tests will serve as a base line. NM scan for skeletal, the CT for lymph and organs, ie, soft tissue. They will compare and note any new metastatic lesions. Good luck.
