Tele-health appointment with MO

I had my first tele-health appointment with my MO. It looks like my vacation from Lupron will continue for at least another 3 months. He would recommend getting back on Lupron if my PSA keeps rising after my Testosterone reaches normal level.

My Testosterone was < 20 with PSA 0.07 on Feb 28. On May 28 the testosterone was 114 and PSA 0.135. My normal testosterone is on the low side, it was 307 when I started my ADT treatment for metastatic prostate cancer in November 2018.

My normal testosterone is probably low. In 2018, when I developed metastasis my PSA varied: 322 (8/28/18), 278 (10/22/18) and 307 (11/16/18). When I start ADT again, I intend to stay on it for least 2 years before thinking of a vacation from it. My last Lupron shot was at the beginning of September, 2019. So, I expect my Testosterone to reach my low normal by September.

Just an observation. You are no longer undetectable with riding PSA and T. I would check these two numbers monthly and make a decision based on facts and not desire. Good luck.

It’s great on the tele if you’re doing well . I also did my first tele. I was happy not to drive the 400 mile round trip .I’m with the others about you should get On adt and not wait. That’s just me? Good luck
