Modified citrus pectin

Some time ago a Dr. Kenneth Pienta MD at Wayne State u in Detroit discussed MCP

preventing Pca from spreading. Also, a Dr Isaac Eliaz MD lectures on MCP controlling having too much Galectin-3 where to much causes cancer.

Is there any further research on this. MCP can be purchased on line. Best price is at Eco Nugenics $108 for 1.2 lbs or 551 grms.

Pretty expensive.

If it was you and you wanted something different than 3 X a day ... what alternative might you consider , and had you possibly thought of a pre-mix liquid in the fridge or something similar ? Not asking for medical advice of course, just your perspective, thanks.

Yikes .. just looked it up n the web, a daily supplement has 12 carbs a day. That would seriously mess with my 50 carb a day keto diet. In other words I’d have to sacrifice over 20% of my daily food intake to use it. I’m already literally paved , head to toes, with mets ... not sure if that supplement works out for me considering ?

Kaliber profile image
Kaliber

Thank you sir. Trying to use that or any product 3 specific times a day would quite difficult unless I just carried a bag around with me and used it on the run. The logistics would be interesting yayahahahaya. Maybe a large man purse, briefcase for meds something like that. Either way the carb content pretty much makes it a non starter I guess. Thanks again brother Nal, I appreciate it.

What brand do you use? Any conclusion to the trials? Thanks

It’s probably doable. Breakfast would work ok , but my wife still works and travels on the road a lot ... I travel with her. The mid day one i could carry with me and we’d be destinated by bedtime so having it in my hefty supplements bag would work out too. When I’m on the road my keto diet is screwed anyway yayahahahaya. Thanks big guy.

Nalakrats,

The ecoNugenics label suggests a daily dosage of 1 x 5 gm per day.

Then add "Or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.'

Are you using high dosage for a reason?

My nat dr had me on it for my first two years . I went into remission and this is one he had me drop. I believe it’s good .. hard to mix and gritty to drink . Good luck ... heal yourself ✌️

Put the powder in a glass first. Hold the glass about 10 inches under the kitchen faucet. Slowly turn on water aiming for glass. Turn off water and swirl around. This usually mixes the powder completely.

She is happy ...life is good right now . Thank God! 🙏🏼

Nal,

I have capsules (500 mg in each capsule) of MCP (vitacost)

To reach your dosage I will need to take 30 capsules X 3 rimes daily = 90 capsules daily? WOW

Discounts are occasionally available directly from Econugenics online. I recently got an email discount offer of up to 30% off depending on how much you purchase. The sale just ended on Jan 31. I suggest signing up for their emails to be notified of future sales.

I’ve taken 2 capsules a day from eco in am since 2010 when my pc recurred after rp in 2007. Refused all radiation and chemo advice from MSK for quality of life reasons. Now 79. My psa has stayed under .5 since. Had ga 68 scan a few months ago - no lesions. Have no idea if mcp has had any impact but will continue to take.

Hope this is helpful. Good luck to you.

Hey Nalakrats!

That is exactly how I take my PectaSol-C. I keep several of the 5 gram scoops that are in the jars. Mixing it would be wasteful and this way it is over and done in a minute. There is a small scoop to wash.

Hey Nalakrats!

Yep! Not only is it a procedural process "developed" to eliminate waste and cut time, it is in my case, a bachelor thing too--one less glass to deal with! Chased with one third a bottle of Poland Spring from Maine.

You have to figure that even those who "dissolve" the PectaSol-C in water, and I hope the water doesn't have large amounts chlorine and fluoride in it, have a residual in the container the solution is mixed in. Loss could easily equal as much as 250 mg. The glass can't get cancer!

I take the Econugenics MCP product every day. $108 is a drop in the bucket compared to most other therapies. I wouldn’t let that stop you. I put this in a smoothie along with freshly ground flax seed, turmeric, a little black pepper, almond milk and Sun Warrior for the protein.

I am also doing Vitamin C IV infusions each week at a local MedSpa, one of the more well-regarded alternative therapies. Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments. Vegan diet. Just started colonics. I can tell my situation is improving from my symptoms. I was having massive back pain, burning, pressure on my spine the last two weeks. I can’t tell you how much better I feel right now. And the colon hydrotherapy I absolutely swear by. I do daily skin brushing and green juicing as well.

Bigblock Curious, what does your protocol consist of? And what seems to be helping you the most? Have you experienced a decrease in PSA?

Bigblock profile image
Bigblock in reply to SoFlaGtr954

Hey dude love what your doing, and by what I’ve learnt, all that stuff should have a good effect, unfortunately a bit out of my price range so I haven’t managed to reduce my PSA yet but I’ve found what I believe to be a very effective protocol to try but it’s not for the faint hearted as it takes up every minute of every day and it’s a minimum 6 month protocol, but it’s basically an enzyme therapy that involves a lot of detoxing and cleansing as well, so I’m following a protocol by Dr Jaime E. Dy-Liacco from the Philippines who fixed himself of PC, when he lived in the States he leant from Dr William Donald Kelly who fixed himself of pancreatic cancer and a name you might of heard of, Dr Nickolas Gonzalis ( not sure about the spelling) he also used the protocol for many years and other drs have used it as it’s meant to be very effective, so I can’t say if it’s working yet as I’ve recently started it but if I get results I shall let everyone know

keep up with what your doing, I know ya will cos that stuff makes ya feel good.

Thanks! Appreciate you sharing this info.

I know Dr. Nicolas Gonzales well, he helped my grandmother when she had breast cancer. Unfortunately my grandmother wasn't able to keep up with the demands of his program, and her cancer spread to her bones and she passed. I wish you the very best with your program, sounds like you've found a good solution.

Enzyme therapy is huge for cancer. Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm has all of their guests on Systemic and Digestive Enzymes (supplement form). And green juicing is a foundational component of their program, using living foods - sprouts - for the enzymes. I'm doing 32oz of green juice daily (cucumber, celery, ginger, garlic, sunflower sprouts, pea sprouts). They also tell all their guests that for lunch and dinner, fill your salad with half sprouts each time.

Let's definitely keep in touch. Fighting this thing is very, very challenging. With each passing day I ask myself, "What more can I do??". I'm about to join a local spa so that I can do daily far infrared saunas for the hyperthermia benefits. Also using a product from Malaysia (palm tree trunk fiber) to purge my body of mucoid plaque (apparently it works in 4-5 days, I'm now on day 2). Anything to reduce the toxic burden I think can only help.

Bigblock in reply to SoFlaGtr954

Hey sorry to hear about ya grandmother, I don’t know exactly what Dr Gonzales protocol involves but if it’s similar to what I’m doing it is very difficult to keep doing even at my age (I’m 56) I just lost my dad a week ago as he was far to weak to do it to, he had it everywhere by the time they found it.

Hey dude I would love to keep in touch, I haven’t met anyone else doing it the same way (fix what’s broken) I agree it’s not the prostate that’s the problem, that’s the symptom, and it is very challenging doing this way as I’ve found most people are against me including the hospital, they told me not to come back unless I have there treatment, it can be very scary at times,

Did I understand correctly from another post that you’ve been at it for 11 years? I’ve been at it for4 years now and that seems like a lifetime, well done to you, I’ve done the same as regards to how I can keep adding more, I like what your saying about a far infrared sauna, I want to do the same, monies a bit tight here as I’m using all mine to follow my protocol, but I’m thinking of buying the bulbs and making a 4 bulb light unit I can sit in-front of, what’s your thoughts on nir infrared, the Drs I’ve been listening to say it penetrates deeper but I don’t know if it does, but yeah light therapy is all part of energy medicine and Dr Dietrich Klinghardt (one of my best speakers) claims, in physics, energy controls matter, he’s doing some amazing work.

Hey the palm tree trunk fibre sounds good, I think the Asian culture really know what there doing when it comes to plants hence my drs protocol I’m trying, he’s half Chinese half Philippine,

Hey you sound like ya doing better than me so I wish you all the best and I hope we can stay in touch, I could talk to you for hrs, stay strong dude.

Thanks re: my grandmother, and I'm so sorry about you losing your father. This must be quite difficult for you, especially as it just happened.

The Gonzales program is intense. Tons of supplements. Like you're popping pills all day long. But it's far more than this. I just forget all the details as it has been at least 20-25 years since my grandma passed.

Re: keeping in touch, I sent you a private message here, I'd like to keep in contact too. Check your messages.

Agreed, and it's also difficult finding an online support community with an open mind. Most instantly label anything alternative as "voodoo" (love that one), another told me to "sell my snake oil somewhere else" (funny how I was replying to someone else and not selling a damn thing, just want to get well without being cut open or radiated lol). It is very challenging going this route for this reason alone, but there are so many possible therapies, and there are some that are questionable without a doubt. I've been looking for the common denominators that have proven successful over time.

Re: far infrared, they also sell far infrared heating pads which are more affordable than say a Clearlight far infrared sauna. Check out Therasage.

Re: near red and red, I've been reading up on this lately and it looks very promising, although supposedly not conclusive yet as a cancer treatment. The units / companies highly recommended in my book on this topic: Red Rush360 by Red Therapy Co ($449) and Platinum Therapy Lights BIO-300 ($489). He does review a few others and explains why he doesn't recommend them (and this guy has studied red light extensively - Ari Whitten). I have been in touch with Red Therapy Co and they told me that their units are not specifically approved as a cancer treatment, at least not as of now. So who the hell knows...but I like what I've been reading so far.

Now on Day 3 of 4 or 5 of the palm tree trunk fiber. I really hope I see the results I'm expecting. Will give it another 2 days.

Had an appointment with a Uro today. Looks like another 2 ultrasounds and another 3T MRI for me. A very painful DRE.

Hi yes apparently there is, I have watched Dr Isaac Eliaz interviewed a couple of times and read about PectaSol-C by ecoNugenics and it’s about the molecular weight which is why it is Modified Citrus Pectin and not just Citrus pectin, so according to Dr Eliaz pectaSol-C is between 10,000-20,000 but he says other brands are between 40,000-60,000 and it’s the low molecular weight that allows PectaSol-C to penetrate the gut and the cells to reduce Galectin-3, I use to take it myself till the price shot up and now I can’t afford it, but I like the product, do ya just love it when a product shows help with cancer the price goes through the roof and everyone tries to bleed us dry, how cheap is Vit C and now IV’s are so expensive I can’t afford those to, oops sorry gone off track, hope this helps

Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya that’s funny. You have a good point there. I plunked on 90 pounds at the start of my adt , before that I was losing 18 pounds a week which freaked out my wife. I think my mobility would greatly benefit from less weight is about all .. right now my mobility is a serious issue which is mostly a side effect of the very debilitating way I respond to adt.

None of my doctors are in the least concerned about my weight , my oncologist says if I’m enjoying food , go for it. Even traded food enjoyment stories with me last visit. He says at this point it’s not something I should waste time worrying about. That family and QOL should be my only daily focus. Interestingly I put on weight but don’t continue to put it on. I hit a level and no matter what I eat , I don’t get heavier. That’s handy.

Ok you sold me big guy .... guess I’ll add another supplement to the huge pile I already have gleaned info from here on the group , especially you, westof etc. Between all my cancer meds, bp, bp, pain mgt and supplements, I’m a busy boy every morning when I wake up nowadays yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. I have to admit “ something “ is working real well for me ... Im not sure how much the supplements contribute but I won’t argue with success and I feel like I have somewhat of a hand in things too. Thanks brother Nal , I really appreciate ( treasure ) your input , you da man . 😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍

Barlow Herbal - Munity Boost for 30 days followed by Lomatium (LDM-100). Don't start on Lomatium (an herb from the Pacific Northwest) right away, you have been warned! It can cause a massive rash, which is not at all harmful, just a detox reaction. Taking the Munity Boost first usually prevents the rash from happening. If you have questions contact the owner Jane Barlow. Her and her father have been harvesting Lomatium for decades. Major anti-fungal. Lomatium is also a powerful anti-viral.

For worms/parasites, Black Walnut Hull, Wormwood and Clove can be used in combination. See below for sourcing:

I've been using the Econugenics MCP for several years after an RP in 2014. I take it twice a day (breakfast and dinner, 1.5 scoops each time). This results in the recommended 15 grams/day.

This routine has kept my PSA below 0.1 for over 5 years. Periodically, I reduce the dose to 5 grams/day, due to the cost, and every time the PSA starts rising above 0.1 (the highest was 0.13), so I go back to the 15 gram regimen.

It is expensive, but I'm convinced this is keeping me from having to undergo salvage radiation.

What are your thoughts on managing my BP without drugs ? I have normal bp until I gain the weight. Most of my family has died from strokes, I keep my bp on the low side if possible. Probably my most major medical concern, right now IMHO is croaking from heart attack or stroke brought on by the Physical stress of the adt meds. After 15 months of Lupron Xtandi , Xtandi has caused me to develop a “ unclassified “ ekg defect ( doesn’t fit the algorithms of bradycardia , normal, tachycardia, or fibrillation and several others ) and my bp went high a few months after adt started. I also have drug induced diabetes from the adt as well.

My current bp medications are lisinopril - hydrochlorothiazied pill 40 - 50 I think plus

amlodipine 10mg . My bp averages 101/ 68 on an automated blue tooth advanced Kardia system ( average of 9 ) they let me play with it by adding or subtracting extra lisinopril if I want. My bp jumps to 215/110 when I visit the Kaiser clinics but I can meditate it down to around 128/78 in a few minutes on their machine. It freaks them out, they brought 3 nurses over to watch me do it last week. My normal pulse is 58 - 60, but 110 at Kaiser.

Kaliber profile image
Kaliber

My order will be here tomorrow.. got the capsules. 👍👍👍

Kaliber profile image
Kaliber

It would be nice to get off the bp meds but probably as long as the adt is hammering me so hard, that’s going to be difficult. Might be a duration thing at this point. Feels like I got an alley full of shadows following me around , and any one of them easily able to send me off yayahahahaya. Seems like I spend half my time juggling them around. I kinda feel like my medical team feels like it’s a bunch of pointless flailing around in the dark, me struggling against the Inevitable or something like that, “ things are OK considering , I should just concentrate on family and fun / QOL . “. Of course they collectively know far more about it than I do but I kinda feel like I’m doing a little to fine tune things ... even if its only worth a few days or a week or two ... If I can help steer that inevitable to be the PCa instead of one of the major physiological failures treatment stress can bring .. odds are I might be extending things going with the PCa. it being the slowest mover. Just a thought anyway.

That survival instinct in humans is a strong instinct isn’t it . 🤪😁💪💪💪

Hey guys if you look up Dr Isaac Eliaz on utube there’s loads of interviews with with him and he can explain everything, there’s even an interview with one of my favourites, Wendy Myers, she’s not a MD but she uses MCP with her clients for detoxing, as her thing is about detoxing heavy metals, MCP has a few very helpful benefits other than reducing Galectin-3, it’s apparently a true binder to, I would urge anyone who’s thinking of using MCP to watch the interviews as it might help you to justify the cost because it is expensive, it’s approximately $142 here in the UK,
