My blood test gives BNP 720 pg/ml after 20 sessions of radiotherapy and Firmagon since 6 months.

PSA 0.07....

I am in top shape and run 5 to 10 kms.....

Is it a fake indicator..... Normally this number indicates immediate heart attack.....

What should I do........

Sipping a glass of ROSé....

No....since I have no symptom...

I walk 5 kms in hills...climb stairs...but I have genetic Yamaguchi syndrome of heart thickness with no effect of my QOL...

I sent results to Uro RO and prostate ONCO...

Will see GP tomorrow....

Very strange so....as it is 98 % sure indicator of heart attack...

I will also try get Cardio...

Thanks for your care

Same happened to me during end of IMRT, BP shot up to 165/98 from 110/70, attributed to Zytiga and sympathetic response to full bladder (15 pts). Two months after radiation and dropping Zytiga, BP is back to normal. I’m a runner too, but it didn’t help.

Are you putting all your eggs in BNP basket ? Have you done an echocardiogram and a treadmill stress test to know your Ejection Fraction (which should be 60 or above) and to know size of your left ventricle and ventricular septal wall.(should be less than 11 mm)

Just by BNP test..not much is accomplished other than unnecessary anxiety.
