We visited with nuclear medicine yesterday and instead of doing radium 223 at this time she referred us to Excel Diagnostics for possible trials. In the meantime we have emailed Technical University in Munich about My 177 treatments and the place in Houston about trials. also scheduled for, you guessed it, a sixth biopsy! The tumor on the iliac has grown enough that she felt we should be able to get a sample this time also scheduling an MRI to see if one of the Mets is pressing on a nerve since hubby is getting occasional shooting pain s down his leg. The fun never ends!

Thanks for any info you may have

The US trials of Lu-177-PSMA-617 are no longer recruiting, but they sent patients to Excel in Houston for the Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET scan. My recollection was that prior to the Lu-177 trial, Excel charged a lot, and it was much cheaper (about $2700) to get it at UCLA. But Excel has been acquired by a larger pharmaceutical company since then, so check prices.

His Gleason score, current PSA, are his mets all confined to his bones ? Has he done ADT? Chemo ??

Yep I have in original post. No biopsy due to a stroke at dx time so no Gleason. Psa began at 208 before ADT brought to 1.4 for a month last year then the climb. Had some soft tissue mets initially but ADT seems to have shrunk those and nothing new has shown up. No liver, lungs, organs But has progression in spine. Did 5 rounds docetaxel which basically maintained where he was but has been off since June rechallenged with zytiga again working in soft tissue but bone mets progressing.
