DO YOU KNOW XOFIGO?

My Onc has recommended this and it sounds like just what I need. Anyone have experience with it?

Hi !

One week ago, I received my fourth Xofigo treatment. I had almost no side effects, except for some diarrhea. Other patients I personally know had only small side-effects as well. It works only against metastases in the bones and it has definitely reduced the pain and some metastases in the bones have become smaller.

With me, the Xofigo but may be canceled because the doctors suspect that my cancer develops into neuroendocrine. Then I will probably get a platinum-based chemo. I wish you all the best for the upcoming treatment.

I had a couple rounds of Xofigo earlier this year. I didn't experience any bad side effects...didn't notice any increase in fatigue, nausea, low blood counts, or any of the other bad side effects.

Xofigo "should" have been exactly what I needed for my thriving bone mets...to slow them down. I was so excited in that I knew it was going to work for me.

But...somebody forgot to tell my cancer that. It didn't help me...not at all. No explanation why it didn't work. 🤔

My bone mets continued to thrive. My MO stopped it for me after two rounds.
