My younger brother is currently in hospice. All treatments have been stopped. He’s on morphine slow release twice a day 45mg, and has fast acting liquid, if need be. The pain from the bone metastasis is excruciating for him. So hard to see him this way. He’s given this a good fight for 4 years and 4 months, now it’s time for this warrior to rest. Please keep him and our family in your thoughts.
stopped all treatment : My younger... - Advanced Prostate...

I hope they provide enough pain killer. According to my knowledge it’s possible today to go without pain. I’m very sorry for you and your brother - wishing you strength and patience. Hope you can help him to go in peace.
Thank you, he was in a hospice facility for 5 days. They monitored him closely. The pain meds are keeping him comfortable. He’s happy to be home now!

Good speed and wish him pain free while onto his next chapter. it will be interesting to find out if there is actually anything happening when we close the door this side???
Also interesting to here what his beliefs and thoughts are.
Hope you and his family are as well as you can be
We are Catholic and believing in our faith. Although, He’s having a hard time accepting it.🙏🏻
Re: He’s having a hard time accepting it.
As you can see you have many well wishers and people offering up prayer.
Gods word says were two or more are gathered in my name (Prayer through the Holy Spirit) I am (Holy Spirit) there also.
Out of Gods word 2 Timothy
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing”
We are in prayer bridging the gap for his lack of faith (accepting it)
For all mankind stands before God the day his body dies and his spirit stands before God. Rest assured that God is ultimate love and that love bridged the gap from the Cross of his son’s death for our acceptance or non acceptance. What incredible is when the Body dies and his worldly thoughts die with his body. It’s that time when man’s spirit meets Gods spirit, it’s the impossible to deny that you have a new spiritual body. It’s a big awakening as one were to look into the mass universe and say this is incredible and this is real. No one will say this isn’t real. It’s so obvious that we have a creator who loves us. Rest assured he will accept and be part of the kingdom of God.
Blessings to you and your family during this difficult time.
Through the Holy Spirit we pray in Jesus name.
AND ALL OF GODS PEOPLE SAID AMEN.
I'm so sorry. Wishing your brother a peaceful, pain-free journey, and peace, strength, and comfort for you all.

My brother was the same last month and when they increased his meds, he passed peacefully on 5th September. Prayers to your brother, you and your family.
I’m so sorry,it’s so hard. Thank you for the message.
I took care of my sister-in-law (she was 50) and a friend (54) as they passed from cancer. One was in hospice in a hospital and one in hospice at home. I felt honored to do so but it was difficult- especially watching them in pain. Increasing morphine helped their comfort but they were both reluctant to do so. I'm sending you and your brother's loved ones strength through the journey. Hoping your brother stays comfortable and you all have some moments of peace and he feels your love💙
Thank you for your kind words!
It’s good to hear that he is getting care and that he has such a loving sibling.

as all and most caregivers these are so reflecting as we encounter our love one passage to a place that someone or sometimes takes to account this is a special shared moments to be in and sometimes one shot at it Being there brings spirits an spiritual comfort and healing love …he will never be alone in transition.
May God bless him and keep him!

It's so great that he's in hospice now. It makes a world of difference (I volunteered for a local hospice group for many years). And, I think that he's fortunate to have you with him as he walks this path. You sound like a kind and caring sister. Blessings.

Praying for you at this time I've watched my dad die from this disease I share ,it hurts like hell I prayed the end came 🙏 for him
He died surrounded by those he loved there was no pain at this point
Acceptance is more the word
My dad was a warrior ,he never complained even in the end
And I loved him so much
I can relate
So sorry ❤️ Lost dad 8 months ago, he didn't have any pain. He died home, so peacefully. I couldn't wish for a better end to his journey and from the bottom of my heart, I wish your brother the same. He had a subcutaneous morphine and midazolame pump just in case, and I highly reccomend asking for it sooner than later. I pushed the button when he started struggeling with his breath to accelerate the process and didn't take long before he was gone. I feel good about doing that for him. It was such a special experience and an honour taking care of him at the end, it was devastating and beautiful at the same time. Wish you all the best 🙏❤️
