Hello my father has not yet been diagnosed with prostate cancer but based on his X-rays there are signs that it has spread to his bones. He has gone through biopsy for his prostrate . We will receive diagnoses in two weeks and in the meanwhile doctor has prescribe Casodex bicalutamide. My question is will it be okay for my father to continue smoking medical marijuana/oil while taking chemo therapy pills. It really helps with pain and he doesn’t want to take norcos. The medical marijuana also helps with his appetite.
Thanks

Thank you ... I am actually asking on behalf of my father. I am devastated and trying to make him as comfortable as possible. Have you known anyone to live long with metastatic prostate cancer. Yesterday he asked me how long he has and I had no idea what to say

Cancer is a horrible disease I am happy to hear that you are doing well. You have provided me with a sense of hope that we will have my father for longer. I wish you the best.
Hello Mrsram, as far as MaryJane is concerned I don't do the stuff but many here do and all have said it helps them. As far as how much time he has, only God knows and he/she ain't telling. Make sure he indeed has Pca (prostate cancer) FIRST and if so get him to a good Pca oncologist in a facility with a good Pca treatment reputation. Tell us a bit more about your dad. AGE, LOCATION AND WHERE HE IS CURRENTLY BEING TREATED (DOCTOR(S) NAMES ALSO). You will find a wealth of knowledge here... Ask questions and stick around.
