Xofigo dose3

I am searching out anyone with severe bone pain after this injection,

Extreme fatigue- life changing!

Not sure I can tolerate injection 4 and 5, 6.

I cannot find info on this and radiation oncologist did not warn of this.

Bone pain tripled.

Currently obviously off Zytiga so no ADT going on for nearly 4 months.

Please anyone have have same reaction?

As for the bone pain, maybe a lidocaine patch if in a particular area....can you up your pain meds for now?? Talk to your MD...

Did you experience huge increase in bone pain on Xofigo?

My husband has had 2 injections, and will get his 3rd next Thursday if his blood levels are still ok. His alkaline phosphates have gone down to 70! How are yours? I would think that is the first thing they would look at, to see if the ALP has gone down? Also, what are your other levels? He has had no increase at all of bone pain, it has mostly resolved. Are you still on Lupron? I would call your doctor asap and report this. From what we were told there should be no side effects other than a bit of stomach issues.

We are calling doctor today.

Alk remained in 400’s.

But that is down from 600’s.

Extreme pain after 2nd and 3rd injections which radiologist explains is the radio pharmaceutical drug fighting cancer.

It has been intolerable-

On morophine even.

Flu like.

So trying to get in to see oncology ASAP as this doesn’t seem normal with Xofigo.

I am so sorry to hear this. I don't think it is normal to have such a severe reaction, although I have heard of flu like symptoms. Not sure why the severe pain? Especially since the alk has gone down. I hope you are able to get in soon! Please let me know what the doctor says. I am not sure if my husband will even get his 3rd injection. I imagine the symptoms get a bit worse with each one, but this is extreme!

Curious what ever came of your Xofigo injections? My dad just had his second and his bone pain is so much worse. He is extremely tired but trying to power through. Did you ever have all six? It has brought his alkaline phosphate and PSA down a bit. What is the reasoning behind the increased pain? We have a call in to the Dr.

They refused to allow more than 3 treatments due to low hemoglobin.
