Hello, I have metastatic prostate cancer (bony metastases). Thus far, I have had 39 radiation treatments, have been on Lupron for over one year (in tandem with Bicumulide first, and now Xtandi). Due to a recent increase in my PSA, I will soon begin Provenge treatment. I have no pain and have, from the start of the Lupron injections, fought the SE's with exercise at a local gym. The hot flushes are another issue, as are the several bladder trips to the bathroom each night. I accept these SE's as part of the journey along a bumpy road and feel fortunate that, thus far, I have no pain. My heart goes out to all who are dealing with this damnable disease.

Castration resistant prostate cancer
Howdy, at what point did the doctor determined that you are at mCRPC (castrate resistant)?
MY PSA was "undetectable" for about one year (2014 to2015). And then, it started going up even while I was still consuming bicalutamide. Subsequent Lupron shots brings it down but never got to "undetectable again (last two year). After each Lupron depot, my T goes to nil and PSA goes to 0.2 or so until the shot wears out and T begin to rise. At that point my PSA correspondingly goes up. Pls share your experience if you can.
Best Wishes With The Provenge N-Kitch! So Glad You're Not In Pain. You Have A Great Outlook 😊
Blessings Wished For You.

Wishing you the best on your continued journey. Please keep your positive prospective. I am pulling for you!
Yeah you may just be Casodex resistance, and not castrate per say.
